The thirty year milestone has been met. Thirty years ago today we married in a small country church in west Texas. The unfinished quilt top attached was sewn for my dear hubby in honor of our 30 years. His favorite quilt and fabric style is 30's so that is what I presented to him this morning. The quilt is unfinished because I wanted to make sure he was agreeable to a floral applique' border before I completed the quilt. Yeah he is. Now I have more work to do.
The pictured quilt top was made using the Granny's Stars pattern by Nancy Mahoney found in the July/Aug. 2009 Fons & Porter's Love of Quilting magazine. The fabric used was primarily the Nancy Mahoney P&B Textiles prints which can be found here on my website.
